resume incomplete downloads?

I need help. How can you resume downloads when say the connection was lost instead of overwriting the file.

When I select resume in FlashFXP it dosen't resume it, but instead downloads in again and adds the previous data size from the file broken to lock like it resumed the download. Which in turn makes the file a lot larger and unaccessable. Help!!!

Which version/build of FlashFXP are you using?

Did you download FlashFXP from our website or tucows? If not you need to do that.

Copies hosted anywhere else should not be trusted. Pirated copies of FlashFXP can be found on the web and are sometimes mistaken for shareware downloads, these pirated copies are defective and malfunction. In the past I have been informed that some of these downloads even contain backdoors and virus's.

Thanks for the warning and I did got them somewhere else. If I were to get it from your website, would the resume downloads...resume the broken download instead of downloading it again?

The only way to find out would be to download it and test it out. Resume works fine for everyone else.
