Alternative username
 

On many ftp-servers you only got a 1 simultaneous connection limit.
If the connection get broken, and the ftp-server doesn't notice that,
FlashFXP tries to reconnect until the ghost connection times out.
On some servers the timeout is very long (seen 15-20 minutes).
And if the connection is unstable (looses connection often),
you can loose lotsa time just waiting for timeouts....
On one occation I lost hours just waiting for timeouts!

But on many servers you have the possibility to login with ! before username to kill ghost connections.
But I don't watch FlashFXP all the time to do that.
I would like you to make a solution to use that function.
Alternative username or something like that....

so why don't you change your username to !username on those servers that support this?:confused: and since they allow only 1 login you don't have to worry about killing 2nd connection

You are supposed to use !username only when you need to kill ghost connection, not for regular use.....

Doubt any siteop will persecude ya if you use ! all the time. Don't think they'll even notice.
