Auto-start download

Hiya,

I wish there was a way to automatically download a file when FlashFXP is called with:

FlashFXP.exe username:password@server/folder/file.ext

What it does right now is open server/folder but then it doesn't automatically download to the default download directory. This also applies to quick connect.

When you copy the URL to an FTP file into the quick connect it would be nice for it to download right away (if your URL ends in a folder, keep the current behavior).

Similarly, and the reason I'm asking for this, I'm now using FireBird with an extension which allows me to replace the default FTP client with FlashFXP by intercepting ftp:// mouse clicks (solving Flash's inability to hook onto IE ;) ). I call FFXP with the command line provided at the beginning of the post.

Sorry if I missed something. Somehow I think I remember it used to do this but I might be dreaming.

Thanks for a great product!

I am going to add support for this behavior, since currently this can't be done.

The default behavior will queue the file, i'll add an additional command line parameter to allow you to automatially start the transfer.

Maybe another parameter could be to have flashfxp display a download progress window while keeping the main window hidden.. hmm I really like the sound of that, then once we support IE..
