An option to disable the IEflash.dll
Yes an option would be fine in the installation screen where you can choose if you want to install or not install the IEflash.dll.
In my case its crashing Internet Explorer often. As now i disable it from the run command. Using Build 1013 |
What build # is your IEflash.dll?
The crashing should of been resolved with FlashFXP build 1013.. the IE plugin is build 1012. |
Yes the IEflash is 1012.
Ok it could be true that it has been solved. Only thing i found in changelog was that it has been compiled with another version. I dont use the plugin anyway thats why i disable it. But i still do think it should be an option if the person would like flashfxp integrated or not. And it shouldnt be hard to implement during the installation either. |
During the full setup there's an option to not install it.
The update setup copies over the updated dll but it shouldn't register (activate) it, however I'm not entirely sure if this is the case. I'll have to talk with Linkster to confirm this. The crashing that occured with the previous version of the IE plugin disapeared when we compiled it with a newer version of Borland Delphi. |
I talked with Linkster and there was a misunderstanding with the upgrade setup. The upgrade setup was registering the IEplugin dll. It should not have done this.
This will be resolved in the next update. Thank you |
