I've been using FlashFXP for years now and don't remember any behavior like this. When I connect to serv-u server v6, select several files I want to download, Flash connects and downloads...

OK...thanx MxxCon. So, keeping the compression option checked in FlashFxp would be a good idea in your opinion?

I haven't really done alot of large file transfers such as this before.

Toggle between Implicit and Explicit....depends which one he's using on his server. I know with Serv-U you can choose either one.

The up speed is ~50KB/s...

Just go to zdnet.com and put in ftp...

Just go to zdnet.com and put in ftp server...you'll have plenty to choose from.

If you're not familiar with them and are behind a router make sure you use the server's help file or alot of them...
